Integrated opto-electronic circuit able to generate 0 – 2THz frequencies to support ultra high-speed wireless networks, healthcare and Defense industry.
Technology
The patented optical-feedback technology is used to stabilize multiple lasers to generate any frequency between 0 and 2 THz (5 THz is coming) by photo mixing.
This source can be coupled to a RF module for the wireless communications or other modules to be integrated in radars or THZ active cameras.
The characteristics are unique:
- Very low phase noise < -100 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz
- Accordable between 0 and 2 THz
- Ultra-stable < 0,1 Hz/s
- Linewidth < 1 Hz
